Part-time Veterinary Surgeon - Maternity Cover

Salary up to £41,000 depending on experience

Animals 1^st are currently looking for a part-time experienced Veterinary Surgeon to cover maternity leave. The role will include routine consultations, performing diagnostics and surgeries.

The rota includes working 3 days per week, but we are flexible. There will be 1:3 Saturday mornings from 9:00am-12:00pm and there are no out-of-hours.

About Animals 1^st  and our amazing team!

The practice is situated close to amenities and beach. We are 20 minutes away from Edinburgh. We have all the usual equipment including computed radiography, ultrasound, multiparameter and in house Idexx blood machines. Also, in coming months we are excited to move into a purpose built new building!

Currently our team is made up of 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Practice Manager and 3 Receptionists. We have certificate holders in medicine, cardiology, feline medicine and we regularly visit local schools to teach them about the work that Vets do.
