Salary up to £66,500 depending on experience plus relocation allowance up to £5,000 and welcome bonus up to £5,000

At Mintlaw Vets, we understand the importance of achieving a fulfilling work-life balance. That's why we offer flexibility in terms of working hours. Full-time hours can reach up to 40 hours per week, while part-time and flexible schedules are also available. Joining our team means contributing to a rotating 1:4 weekend schedule (Saturday 9am-1pm and Sunday 9am-12pm), with no out-of-hours commitment.

Dynamic Caseload and Surgical Opportunities

Your role with us will encompass a diverse range of 1st opinion small animal caseloads, presenting you with the chance to engage both your consulting and surgical skills. A keen interest in surgery would be invaluable, as you'll participate in general surgery, including dentistry. One dedicated ops day each week will allow you to immerse yourself in surgical excellence.

Competitive Salary and Relocation Support

We offer a competitive salary of up to £60,000 negotiable depending on experience. Additionally, a relocation allowance of up to £5,000 is available to facilitate your transition. Your professional growth is important to us, and we actively encourage and support further training and certificate study.

Empowerment and Progression

Within our well-equipped facility, you'll find a light and spacious waiting room, 4 consulting rooms (including a dedicated nurse consult room), and 2 operating theatres, one of which doubles as a dirty ops/x-ray room. Our dental x-ray capabilities are undergoing enhancement, exemplifying our dedication to elevating patient care. Our in-house lab is equipped with Idexx analysers and a microscope, while our cutting-edge tools include ultrasound, therapeutic laser, endoscopy, and more.

A Cohesive Team for Comprehensive Care

As a member of our 6-strong Veterinary team, you'll collaborate closely with 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants. Our clinical excellence is supported by a diligent Reception team and Practice Manager. Notable accomplishments include a vet working towards her medicine certificate, two vets skilled in acupuncture, an RVN specialising in rabbit care, and another instrumental in attaining our ISFM Silver Cat-Friendly Clinic accreditation.
