The role
Karen Millen, a renowned fashion brand with a heritage spanning over 40 years is on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Videographer to take the lead in delivering our video strategy. This role offers a great opportunity to showcase your video producing, storytelling and editing expertise and bring the brand to life through video.
As a Video expert, you will have a proven track record in delivering engaging, high quality content, production-planning and executing video campaigns and understanding the role video plays on different platforms. As an ambitious self-starter you will be organised, innovative and have great attention to detail.
This role will work closely with the Head of Creative and Senior Brand Manager and their teams so you will be a strong communicator with the ability to work collaboratively.
Your team

On the e-commerce side of things, we drive traffic to our online stores and generate sales through affiliate marketing, paid media, CRM and SEO. Everything goes towards achieving our mission to be a global fashion e-commerce leader.
What you’ll be doing
This brand new role will play a key part in amplifying the Karen Millen brand through video content across all platforms.
We are looking for someone to help us deliver high quality video content & storytelling. The core responsibilities of this role will include shooting and editing video campaigns and in-house brand content for social media (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) as well as the website, app, ads and in-house projects. Working with a team of content creators, you will work on a wide range of projects with varied budgets
You must be proactive, driven and hard working and work well independently and as part of a team.. We are looking for someone who also brings new ideas and is always looking to improve their work and find solutions.
The role will include:
- Filming video in the office, on set and on location.
- Working with creative teams, clients, influencers and talent to plan video shoots.
- Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment.
- Editing footage after recording and delivering to a deadline.

More about you
- Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects
- Confident in colour correcting, motion & optimisation of video
- A love for social and social content trends is required.
- Strong concept creator & storyteller with the ability to communicate clearly
- High attention to detail for audio & video editing
- Creative thinker who is passionate about developing new ideas.
- Collaborative attitude with the ability to develop strong working relationships with key business departments & stakeholders
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
Desired, not essential:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Confident in retouching.
- Experience with Live video (such as Instagram / TikTok / Facebook Lives)
- A background in the fashion industry / experience filming outfits or fashion shoots desired but not essential.
- A commercial focus / experience working client side.
- Basic photography skills
