Manufacturing Engineer We have a great opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Integrated Airspace-protection Systems (IAS) team in Belfast. Working as a member of a multi-functional team during the bid phase of a project to ensure that accurate labour and material estimates are compiled Creation of industrialisation work packages and manufacturing workbooks to support bid management Attending and contributing at meetings that may affect the department’s processes and performance Supporting the industrialisation of any new product developments using the manufacturing readiness standard processes Liaising with other engineering departments in preparation of labour and material estimates to ensure the accuracy of the end result Have an HNC (essential) and/or a degree (preferred) in an engineering discipline Possess prior experience working within manufacturing Have demonstrable work experience in Mechanical / Electrical assembly processes Have a working knowledge of product life cycle phases i.e. feasibility, development/design, manufacture, customer support, APQP Our core benefits include a pension plan, healthcare cash plan, life assurance, income protection as well as an employee assistance programme.
