At Haworth Art Gallery we have a vision to create inspirational cultural experiences that enrich and transform lives. We are an Arts and Crafts House with art and social history collections, including an international collection of Tiffany glass. We are looking to develop engagement with our communities both at Haworth Art Gallery and with outreach programmes that bring great culture to local communities.
We are looking for a Visitor Assistant to join our team. In this role you’ll be providing excellent customer service at Haworth Art Gallery and delivering exceptional visitor experience. You will have an interest in culture and will be willing to develop your knowledge of Haworth Art Gallery and the heritage of Hyndburn. You’ll ensure the highest front of house standards and ensure our venue is a safe and inclusive space.
You will be expected to maintain the security of building and exhibits during opening times by patrolling the building, invigilating the galleries and supervising visitors. As no two days are the same, you’ll thrive on variety and be able to think on your feet to solve problems. You’ll have good income generation skills and be comfortable with systems and technology.
