Liberty is seeking a creative and strategic Media Officer with excellent communication skills, a sound understanding of what makes a good story and an ability to translate complex human rights issues into clear, compelling and accessible press content that resonates with a diverse range of audiences.
The post holder will have excellent time management and project management skills and a proactive approach to work, with a proven ability to keep a clear head in a crisis, balance competing priorities and make excellent and informed judgment calls under pressure.
They will take a highly collaborative approach, building strong working relationships with journalists, parliamentarians, NGOs, campaigners and high-profile supporters and supporting and briefing our legal clients and spokespeople.
