About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Forklift Driver to join our team at our busy site in Wollaston. This is a night shift position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package to the right candidate.
Please note this position is only open to participants with the valid required licenses.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate counterbalance and Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) forklift trucks to transport goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers and containers.
- Conduct routine checks and inspections of forklift trucks to ensure they are in safe working order.
- Maintain accurate records of all stock movements.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift truck licence for counterbalance and Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks.
- Experience working as a forklift driver in a warehouse environment.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual timekeeping.
- Operate a forklift truck for extended periods.
