SalaryNugent are looking for a volunteer to drive Nugent’s Van to help support our Charity Shop/ Fundraising Team with collecting and delivering donated items from the local community.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To drive a Nugent Van in a safe and responsible manner and to provide a high standard of customer care and act in a responsible and courteous manner at all times. To provide assistance to Nugent Charity Shop with collections and deliveries of items which have been donated for the general public. To carry out vehicle pre checks and report any defects immediately to the Manager. To complete all necessary paperwork, e.g. log sheets, fuel issue sheets, defect reports, ensuring that accurate records of all journeys undertaken are recorded. To immediately record and report details of any accident/untoward incident to the vehicle, passengers or third party (regardless of severity) and obtain contact details of any witnesses
Essential
- To participate in all mandatory training, Disability Awareness, Safeguarding A full, clean standard UK Driving Licence. Hold a standard UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 2 years. Over 25 years old Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Desirable
- Previous experience of minibus driving. Hold a Driving Licence with a D1 entitlement. Basic First Aid qualification. Geographical knowledge of Merseyside.
