Job Profile
We are looking for a talented Volunteer Website and Social Media Administrator to join our team of dedicated and passionate volunteers for a minimum of six hours a week. The main purpose of your role would be to help keep our community engaged and up to date with all the great things happening within the trust such as community grants, events and community days. Your focus will be regular maintenance and updating of our Website and Social Media channels, as well as creative content creation and scheduling, to help grow our reach and overall audience.
If you are looking to gain working experience in a Web Development role and grow a personal portfolio, whilst making a difference in the community, this could be just the opportunity you have been looking for. This position can be done either remotely or from the office based in Stevenage. For the right candidate, there would be potential to become a Trustee of the charity.
Primary responsibilities
* Working closely with colleagues within the trust to keep update to date with recent events and activities.
* Creation and posting of relevant and engaging content on Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin & others.
* Regular maintenance and updating of the website.
* Get involved with community days/events.
Skill/Experience
* Web Development experience is a must.
* Website Administration and Management.
* Good experience with web design.
* Good experience and understanding of Social Media, including creating content and posting on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin & others).
* Excellent communication skills.
* A willingness to learn about the charity.
You will
* Own a Laptop/PC.
* Be able to work from home or travel into the offices in Stevenage.
* Ideally get involved with community days/events.
