Position: Volunteering Operations Manager 
Hours: Full-time (35 hours a week) 
Contract: Fixed term contract up to 31 December 2024 
Location: Office-based from one of this charity's National Offices (London N4, Edinburgh, Cardiff or Belfast) with flexibility to work remotely. 
Salary: £42,862 - £45,785 per annum plus excellent benefits 
Salary Band: Band G1

About this job  
The Volunteering Operations Manager will be leading the provision of an excellent operational advice and support service for Volunteer Managers across this charity.

Developing clear, user-friendly processes for Volunteer Managers to use which meet both organisational and statutory requirements to support the delivery of this charity's services.

You will be ensuring that volunteer-involving teams have the volunteer resources available to meet their needs. Increasing volunteer engagement within and across all of the organisation is a priority for this organisation, building the sense of togetherness and teamwork. 

This role will also be providing line management to the Volunteer Recruitment Officer. This charity's volunteer recruitment oversees the processes for their network of 3000 volunteers, ensuring appropriate screening is undertaken upon recruitment, enabling them to make safe and appropriate volunteer recruitment decisions.

Ongoing assessment and improvement of performance, compliance and impact across all charitable volunteers is an important part of this role and you will play a key part in developing a new volunteer survey and their next Volunteer Strategy.
