The Vulnerability Operational Support Officer will perform a vital role within Greater Manchester Police, providing excellent customer service to members of the public, colleagues and partner agencies.
You will work within the Child Protection unit in a multi-agency setting and provide administrative and research support to the team. The Teams provide a service that significantly contributes to the delivery of early help preventative support and problem solving interventions for adults, children and families, who are subject of safeguarding concerns, for example: child abuse, domestic abuse and adult abuse.
The role will assist in providing research and analysis, considering the THR principles, in order that decisions and actions can be taken on the ongoing needs of adults, children and families.
The role includes the processing of day to day enquiries from our internal and external partners and victims, updating the iOPS public protection systems and the management of the vulnerability flags and markers on police systems and attending multi agency meetings and recording actions and minutes.
