A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Waiter/Waitress AT STK Rooftop
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the General Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.
- Make guests feel comfortable and enhance guest experience
- Anticipate guests needs and exceed their expectations
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter
- Have detailed knowledge of menu and be able to articulate enthusiastically. Stay abreast of menu.
- Act professional and accommodating and always maintain your composure
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We hire mostly on personality potential but here are a few of our requirements...
To succeed in the role of Server, you will need the following qualities and skills.
- 2 years experience required
- Be 21 years of age
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests
- Must have knowledge of dining room, wine, cocktail and bottle service procedures and functions
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver items, frequently weighing 20 to 25 pounds
