Service Overview
Barnardo's is the UK's largest children's charity, and we are currently on an exciting and innovative journey alongside Leicestershire County Council to deliver a range of children's homes for our most vulnerable young people ensuring they are able to stay close to home.
We are looking for committed individuals who have a passion for working with Care Experienced children who have experienced trauma and are vulnerable to Exploitation.
We want people with a passion to make a difference, to bring stability, fun, laughter and happiness to the young people's lives. The most important part of the job is to give our young people their childhood back and let them be children.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will be part of a small skilled team of adults, supporting and parenting up to 3 children in our beautiful newly refurbished home with an experienced and dedicated management team.
Essential Requirements
- Must hold valid UK driving licence (access to pool car provided)
- Must hold the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare OR be willing to successfully achievethis within the required timeframe.
- Be flexible to commit to Night shift work, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Be able to travel throughout the Locality to meet the requirements of the role.
