Position: Ward Manager (Mental Health)
Location: Woking
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Contracted Hours: 37.5 per week
Time Healthcare are currently selecting for an experienced Ward Manager on behalf of an outstanding mental health provider based in Woking. Our client is a leading provider of mental health and adult social care, committed to providing exceptional services and improving the lives of service users.
We are looking for a skilled Ward Manager to oversee the inpatient rehabilitation centre. The service specialises in treating eating disorders and addictions, across an 18-bedded facility. They also provide treatment for depression, anxiety, and stress, when these co-occur alongside a primary diagnosis of addiction or an eating disorder.
As a Ward Manager you will be responsible for clinical management, leadership to develop a well-established therapeutic and recovery care programme capable of maintaining safety, security, and recovery always.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Maintaining the highest standards of nursing, demonstrating best practices in patient care, empathy, and professional conduct.
* Supervise all clinical operations within the ward.
* Conduct multidisciplinary team meetings and ensure coordinated patient care plans.
* Regularly assess and revise policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
* Monitor and audit staff adherence to policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance.
* Set a leadership example to ensure the consistent maintenance of high clinical care and documentation standards throughout the ward.
The successful candidate must have:
* A valid NMC pin and be an RMN
* Experience in working with addictions/eating disorders
* Robust clinical leadership and proven experience managing diverse social dynamics
* Dedication to working with individuals with enduring mental health needs, promoting a supportive and caring environment
