Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with exceptional leadership skills? We are partnering with a well established private healthcare provider who are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Ward Manager to join their senior team in a flagship hospital based in Solihull.
As the Ward Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the smooth operation of a specialist surgical ward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the ward
- Supervise and support nursing and healthcare staff, fostering a positive work environment conducive to professional growth and development
- Oversee the implementation and adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards within the ward
- Monitor and manage resources efficiently, including staffing, equipment, and supplies
- Take a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues, risks, and opportunities for improvement within the ward
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting, ideally within a surgical hospital ward environment
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practice, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
