Job Function:
The purpose of the warehouse function is to ensure professional support is delivered to the rest of the company, and thereby create value for the company in the form of cost-efficient spending, support in planning, relieving operational employees (based in other departments) from basic warehousing tasks and administration. The result must be achieved through collaboration, good warehouse coordination with a focus on costs, efficiency, and Muehlhan Wind Service values.
The Warehouse Administrator will assist with ensuring our goals are met by providing excellent support to the rest of the warehouse team.
Main Tasks:
- Process incoming sales orders and purchase orders.
- Maintain warehouse stock data and equipment certificates in various systems.
- Maintain clear and open communication with all warehouse personnel to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Create customs paperwork and organize incoming and outgoing freight.
- Assist in ensuring the smooth operation of the invoicing procedure.
- Assist with maintaining the various IT systems used throughout the warehouse function.
- Support the warehouse manager and coordinator with any additional administration tasks.
- Ensure all systems are always kept up to date with order, stock, and certification information.
- Occasionally assist with picking and packing warehouse orders during peak periods.
- Liaise with business units to process incoming sales orders alongside the warehouse coordinator.
Required Qualifications/Competencies:
- Practical approach to join the daily work of picking and packing in the warehouse when needed A positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to organise work and effectively prioritise tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Focused on communication within the team.
- Proficiency with writing, speaking, and understanding English.
Desirable Qualifications/Competencies:
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics BC365.
- Experience within the wind industry.
- Experience within a project-based company.
- 1-2 years previous warehouse/office admin experience.
