Warehouse Assistant

Ellis Engineering Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant for a Specialist and Customised paint manufacturer based in Coleshill.

This highly successful and well established privately owned and run business is very niche within their chosen specialist industry with over 40 years industry knowledge and experience.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working within a factory or warehouse environment and ideally posses a fork lift Counterbalance licence. This is not necessary though as training and the relevant licence will be provided by the company.

This is the perfect role for somebody just starting out in their career and wanting to progress within a Production Environment with full support and training and development.

There will be some working on the factory machinery and training for this will be given as well as a full Health and Safety Induction.

Location : Coleshill

Salary : £10.42 - £11.44

Hours : Mon – Thurs 8.30am – 4.30pm

Fri – 8.30am -2pm

Role Requirements :

· Some Experience working within a factory environment is helpful but not necessary as full training is provided

· Flt Counterbalance licence although this is not necessary as a licence can be provided by the company along with relevant training

· Self Motivated

· Willing to learn and take accountability for work

· Excellent time keeper

· Good work ethic

· Good Listening Skills

· Clear Communicator

Duties:
- Perform various tasks in a warehouse setting to support production operations
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies
- Prepare and package finished products for shipment
- Operate machinery and equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
