Warehouse Credit Operative

Castell Howell Foods is Wales’ leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for a Warehouse Credit Operative based at our Cross Hands depot.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

This role will require you to split your time between warehouse and office-based duties. Experience in Microsoft Office is essential along with the ability to move stock when required. A pallet truck certificate is desirable but full training will be provided.

• Verify all Driver return sheets are completed accurately and information is input into the Driver app
• Ensure returned stock is divided into relevant departments and taken to each store
• Check that all stock has been tipped from each lorry before it leaves the loading bay
• Accurately complete customer credits
• Unload out depot vehicles with the use of a ride on pump truck
• Ensure out depot stock, paperwork, credits and clean ups are correctly processed
• Ensure all quality issue complaints are isolated in the correct area and relevant documentation completed
• Ensure all temperature controlled uplifts are isolated and checked in line with BRC Accreditation
• Update relevant Excel spreadsheets and ensure error reports are run on a daily basics
• Scan and index Driver sheets on a daily basis
• Ensure onwards delivery returns procedure is followed correctly
• Comply with GHP Audit standards by ensuring loading bays, chilled holding area and office are kept clean

• A full-time position working Tuesday-Friday 08:45-18:30, Saturday 08:00-17:00
