Warehouse First Line Manager

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Rotational 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm on an Any 5 from 7 basis
Location: Runcorn - WA7 3BN

DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• To directly assist Management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of KPI's, SLA's and performance in your designated area
• To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports
• Developing continuous improvement and site culture
• Building strong relationships with the customer and all departments onsite

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous experience as a Line Manager or Team Leader within a high volume logistics/ supply chain role
• Experience of team building to increase engagement and motivation
• An open and honest communicator
• Computer literate with a practical knowledge of Microsoft packages and Warehouse management systems - experience of JDA is desirable
