With strong people and leadership skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate good experience and knowledge of Goods In and Out within a Warehouse environment. With overall responsibility for the running of all logistics activities, this would be an excellent opportunity for an individual to join a thriving organisation where the values and culture are embedded within the teams.
Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Leading the 'Kitting', Goods In, Goods Out teams
- Troubleshooting any issues
- Staff training, induction and day to day people management, including recruitment, absence management etc
- Identifying any issues and improvements to existing procedures
- Ensuring reporting requirements are adhered to and that accurate data is available
- Taking part in continuous improvement and problem solving
Skills and experience required:
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and a focused approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent administration, IT and analytical skills
- Excellent team leadership and motivational skills
- Knowledge of lean techniques and Kaizen
- Experience within a Warehouse / Logistics environment
Based in Malvern, our client is offering a salary of c£24k based on a 37.5 week (hours tbc) and excellent additional benefits
