Interim Warehouse Manager - 6 month contract
Salary 40k - day shift but will need to be flexible as they do run a 3 shift

The role will be managing the functions of the warehouse operation at Darlaston
The Role
Your role will be to create and maintain an effective working relationship with the customer.
Making key operational decisions and resolving problems for the best solution.
Ensuring delivery of budge
Ensure maximum efficiency for minimum cost.
Delegating and assigning tasks and targets and evaluating the working of staff.
Adhering to the compliance of company policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory, legal and safety procedures of working.
Managing proper shift allocations and ensuring efficiency of all warehouse staff.
Coordinating with internal / external departments and staff.
Ensuring that all deadlines for transfer of goods and materials are met.
Generating and managing KPI's.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Proven experience in a similar position
Excellent understanding of budgets and profit margins
People management experience with the ability to coach, mentor and promote your team
Possess the ability to develop, lead and motivate a team behind a single common agenda
Be able to deliver steep change in performance when required
Be passionate about providing a superior proactive customer focused service
Highly energetic with the ability to work under pressure
Possess a strong work ethic with a 'can-do' attitude
Must have a good standard of education and an advanced understanding of MS Outlook, MS Excel & MS Word; as well as capable of working with Warehouse Management System.
Strong communication and written skills with excellent attention to detail.
Strong time management skills with the ability to priorities workload and complete tasks on time within a fast-paced environment.
Must possess logical reasoning.
Broad operations skills gained in a warehouse/distribution environment.
The ability to create and present detailed information in a variety of formats to both internal and external teams.
This role requires travel to multiple sites, therefore a driving licence is essential.
