We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the operational duties of our warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for warehouse management and logistics, ensuring the smooth running of all warehouse activities, maintaining health and safety standards, and liaising with company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain Warehouse Health and Safety standards.
- Liaise with all company personnel and customers to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee warehouse and external environment cleanliness.
- Manage stock control and movements, including the use of Exchequer accounts and Salesforce system.
- Handle goods inwards and outwards inspection, stock assembly, and upkeep.
- Conduct stock reconciliation, including demonstration equipment, and ensure stock rotation and sterility checks.
- Account for consumable stock and maintain warehouse security.
- Collate orders and resolve any warehouse issues that arise.
- Plan for stock holding and organise warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
- Manage pool vehicle control and warehouse activities.
- Facilitate the collation of products between purchasing and sales departments.
- Test and rectify systems prior to dispatch and ensure inspection of receipted goods.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in warehouse management, either qualified or by experience.
- Ability to plan effectively and manage contingencies.
- Familiarity with the company’s ISO system.
- Valid Driving Licence.
- Skilled in administration and numeracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Good health and physical ability to carry out duties, including heavy stock movement.
