Are you the right person for the job?
- Experience in using business software systems- Preferable
- Strong people management Skills and previous experience of managing teams
- Excellent organizational skills
- Forward thinker and prepared for change
- Experience with MHE equipment
- H+S Experience Preferable
What will your role look like?
- Lead the warehouse department to ensure the operation is fully supportive of the organisation targets and objectives and ensure these are being met by the team daily
- To run the warehouse department in the most efficient manner and motivate colleagues to work to the best of their ability and are continually developed
- To promote a culture of continuous development and improvement in a fast paced and growing organisation
- Ensure Health and Safety standards and legislation is upheld at all times
- To work with the following teams, Goods Inwards, Picking and Despatch to coach and develop them
- To manage and oversee operational changes and ensure team alignment throughout
- Ensure new warehouse team members are correctly trained and on-boarded
- Ensure stock integrity is maintained and followed within the team
- Overseeing stock takes periodically and ensuring rolling stock takes are maintained
- To coordinate our logistics partners and ensure that the most cost-effective dispatch methods are used for fulfilment of orders
- Attend and support company leadership and planning meetings
- Manage staff holiday, attendance and performance reviews
- Manage and flex daily work across the team to ensure the daily business targets are achieved
