Our client a world class UK based manufacturer and supplier of industrial laminates, composite materials and machined components.
They are focused on delivering a quality product portfolio, supported by great service, excellent response and best of all, over 155 years experience of getting it right.
Your role will include daily planning, stock control, receiving and distribution procedures and coordination of warehouse support activities. You will prioritise jobs for dispatch, ensuring goods are despatched on time.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Being able to drive is essential for this role, as you will be trained to operate the FLT s inside and outside the building
- You are able to self manage, and have a positive and proactive attitude
What will your role look like?
- Use of the company business system MS Dynamics AX
- The input of receipts, issues and returns of material supplies
- Data adjustments for stock control
- Providing confirmation for invoicing, verifying items and quantities of despatched
- Loading of delivery data into carrier portals
- Carry out Quality Checks to ensure good quality materials and components are being despatched, raiding with Production/Quality Management if there is a discrepancy
- Carry out Quality Checks to ensure the good meets purchase requirements
- Processing of shipping and goods in documentation
- You will be responsible for your own health and safety, ensuring full compliance with health and safety procedures
