The Warehouse Operative is responsible for ensuring the warehouse operations perform well and that targets are met. Full training given.
TASKS:
Stock Control
- Receiving all goods in and entering into ERP. Maintain stock in specified locations.
- Maintain quality, batch control and traceability of products.
- Filing of Goods receipts (delivery notes)
- Follow procedures ensuring compliance to quality manual.
- Performing stock check and warehouse inventory using the tools and systems provided, carrying out stock transfers as and when needed.
- Keep the working area / stores free of hazards as per the company’s health and safety policy, reporting any potential dangers to the Manager / Supervisor.
- Accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork ensuring conformance to the customer’s requirements.
- Adequately package all orders for safe delivery to the customer.
- Liaise with the appointed 3rd party carriers and ensure local goods are delivered utilising approved delivery vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records, carry out stock transfers etc.
- Prepared to undertake any internal or external training as required and to undertake any other duties, from time to time, which can be reasonably requested by the Manager.
- Taking reasonable care for your own Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of others who may be affected by your actions.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant Quality standards/procedures on your site.
- Good levels of numeracy and literacy
