Role Purpose
To ensure that all aspects of the warehouse management system are accurate and that processes are correctly actioned, whilst at the same time maintaining excellent internal and external customer relations. The role will include order picking for customer deliveries which are to be delivered the following day, stacking boxes from pick locations on to pallets in a safe manner, to ensure stability while stock is in transit and shrink wrapping of the pallets and putting the completed pallets in line for despatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately In-load product into store safely and efficiently, recording discrepancies which can be reported to the supplier in a timely manner.
- Put-away pallets in store using paperwork generated by the administration team.
- Re-plenish pallets for order picking in a safe and efficient manner.
- Pick orders accurately and safely in line with customers specific requirements.
- Load vehicles in a safe manner whilst at the same time efficiently utilising space.
- Complete paperwork for the administration team both clearly and precisely.
- Fully comply with company HACCP procedures
- Carry out intake documented procedures as per controlled documents.
- Fully understand and comply with the IKEA I-WAY Standard
- Stock query investigation and resolution.
- Maintain accurate stock reports and deal with queries arising from discrepancies.
- Maintain exceptional customer service levels for both internal and external customers.
- Work at all times within contractual specifications of the customer.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment ensuring that MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment) is safe to use at all times.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety polices to promote a safe working environment.
- Adopt a - `Sweep as you go policy’, with the emphasis on a clean working environment.
Qualifications
- Counterbalance License preferred but not essential.
- Reach Truck license is required

Monday to Friday 37.5 hours with 30 min unpaid break.
Start time will depend on workload which will be 6.00am or 7.00am
