We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our vibrant team at our Aylesford facility. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness addressing any hazards or obstructions
- Execute daily tasks, including Daily dispatch, incoming goods, finished goods prep, and production picking.
- Support daily production requirements and prepare goods for production.
- Follow instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor & Team Leader.
- Complete Forklift Truck (FLT) checks daily, documenting and reporting any defects to the Warehouse Supervisor immediately.
- Fulfil all other Warehouse checks according to the rota.
- Manage the disposal of production waste.
- Assist with the requirements of the sampling room.
- Collaborate with Customer Support and external transport providers to ensure the seamless dispatch of customer's orders.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols
Requirements:
- Experience with Reach truck OR Counterbalance (preferably both, but candidates with proficiency in either will be considered).
- Capability to learn and operate an in-house computer system.
- Relevant experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in stock control.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
- Dependability, a strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work swiftly, accurately, and adhere to established routines.
- A team player, capable of providing assistance and support to colleagues within the department and the organisation as a whole.
