Warehouse Operative/Van Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our longstanding clients that are part of a global network specialising in the production, and distribution of industrial batteries and energy storage solutions.

Location: ST5 (Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent)

Job Type: Temp, initially for 6 months, with the possibility to lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Pay rate: £11.93 per hour.

Hours: Monday to Thursday (08:00 to 16:30) Friday (08:00 to 15:00) - 39 hours a week standard, with the possibility of overtime on the weekend paid at T1/2.

The role:

• Basic production/assembly of products in the warehouse
• Loading/unloading products in to correct areas throughout the warehouse and into vehicle
• Working within a team to achieve required orders
• General warehouse
• Ensure the workplace is kept clean and tidy and ensure all spillages/breakages are cleared immediately.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Driving to client sites throughout the UK to deliver products.
• A company van will be provided.

Requirements:

• Must have a full UK driving license
• Must have van driving experience
• Ideally will have warehouse and/or assembly experience
