SalaryWe are looking for a Packing Operative to join a large company site in Gillingham, Dorset.
What you’ll be doing
You will be joining the friendly packing and logistics team to assist with picking and packing orders using their computerised system. As a Packing Operative you will make sure that all orders are picked, quality checked accurately and dispatched on time.
- Picking products
- Packing customer orders
- Operating labelling and packing machinery
- Online despatch processing
- Courier bookings
- Quality control of orders
- Stock control
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping.
Areas are well set up to ensure the efficient flow of customer orders and you will receive full training in your area. Everyone who works in the team is actively encouraged to contribute to the continual improvement of processes and there are regular team catch ups to discuss progress and discrepancies.
Working pattern
Full time hours are 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. There are permanent opportunities available following a period of temporary work.

Skills and experience
