Warehouse - Quality And Process Supervisor

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Warehouse Quality and Process Supervisor for a major Heathrow based Freight Forwarder.

Job Role:-

To ensure the Warehouse and Operations meet all requirements of Security, Quality, HSE and GDP Standards

To actively support all processes around Site and Warehouse Security to CAA and TAPA Requirements

To drive excellence and Continuous Improvement within the Warehouse Operations and processes. Including the day to day running of the warehouse and shift supervisors.

· Promote excellent levels of Security Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental compliance in all areas

· Maintain our certifications and accreditations across various standards and industries

· Communicate to staff at all levels throughout Warehouse, Operations and Management

· Work proactively in all areas to ensure that best practice is achieved, especially a safe working environment

· To develop one’s own skills and knowledge for personal growth and to undertake more responsibility within The Warehouse Security, Quality and HSE organisation

· Planning workload for the day/night shift supervisors

· Handovers

· Special task planning

· Service failure investigation staff training

· General compliance

· H + S warehouse checks

• To act as Nominated Site Security representative
• Daily auditing of Despatched Shipments process
• Spot checking of staff process completion
• X ray Audit Process and completion
• Ensuring GDP compliance of Warehouse documents and handling
• ETSF Compliance- Import completion of VML and release notes.
• Ensuring open communication and accurate reporting
• Ensuring Heath + Safety regulations are maintained in the warehouse
• Bond Check reporting and following up
• Ensuring Despatch process upheld
• Investigating failures
• QHSE Daily checks

· Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them

· Communicate information and updates

· Participate in internal and external audits

· Set plans to monitor and improve Warehouse Hygeine and Environment

· Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices

· Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable by the reporting manager

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Attention to detail and accuracy required for document preparation

· Ability to work with colleagues and undertake specific tasks

· Alertness to surroundings, aware of possible risks of danger

· Computer literate

· Possess a personable and positive attitude

· Preferably familiar with industry practices and professional standards

· X-ray trained

· Knowledge of a warehouse freight forwarding and Logistics

Working hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
