Joining their Supply Chain team means playing a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality materials management and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise goods receipt processes to maintain a steady flow of supplies to the manufacturing plant.
- Lead a team of up to 20 individuals, including temporary staff, providing day-to-day support to the Warehouse manager.
- Manage staffing levels, conduct appraisals, and handle leave and sickness management to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accountability for meeting daily business targets, including thorough inspection of incoming materials.
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, production, and dispatch teams for seamless operations.
- Oversee all Goods Inwards activities, including stock receiving, inspection, and storage.
- Ensure accurate records in SAP and report discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Uphold compliance with health, safety, and security procedures, maintaining workplace cleanliness.
- Continuously enhance departmental policies and procedures for improved efficiency.
- Analyse reports on materials management activities, providing insights to stakeholders.
- Previous experience in a Warehouse & Supply Chain role, with supervisory experience preferred.
