Warehouse Supervisor, £26,000. Poole

As Warehouse supervisor you’ll play an integral role providing support to the operational management team by ensuring supervisory cover across Warehouse and operational functions.  With a large focus on training you’ll be responsible for planning and organising staff training programs ensuring the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment across operations.

As Warehouse Supervisor you’ll be responsible for:

• Overseeing and monitor Warehouse Activity inline with KPI activities
• Developing effective working relationships with internal and external customers
• Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems ensuing efficient flows of stock
• Daily team briefings, shift reporting and coordination of labour across the operation
• Conducting engaging and informative training sessions on material handling
• Maintaining a safe working environment which complies with aspects of the company H&S procedures & environmental control

As Warehouse Supervisor you will have:

• Strong leadership skills with previous experience leading an operational team in fast paced warehouse environment
• Good IT skills – including MS Office
• Ability to gather, manipulate and analyse data to inform decisions
• Confidence to challenge poor performance or behaviours
• A Forklift Counter Balance licence with the ability to teach others for Safe and efficient use
• Excellent communication skills with the ability form and build internal and external relationships
• Patients and confidence to teach and develop individuals learning requirements
