Warehouse & Logistics Manager
· Ensure warehouse activity (incoming / outgoing deliveries) are managed effectively and in a timely manner.
· Drive the FLT to load and unload vehicles in a timely and professional manner.
· Report any issues with the FLT immediately.
· Ensure all people within the warehouse are wearing a hi-viz jacket in the correct manner.
· Check all deliveries to PO’s – flag any issues (qty/lateness) immediately to the relevant teams
. Prepare Cutting list for manufacturing
. Prepare order following cutting list
· Ensure all goods are counted
· Ensure the waste stored outside is managed and kept away from the building.
· Ensure Delivery Notes accompany all outgoing goods
· Follow all relevant procedures set out
· To take good care of property that you are issued
· You may be required to carry out other duties as instructed
Skills & Experience
- Have at least 3 years experience in a similar team leadership role within a warehouse / logistics environment.
- Computer literate experienced in Microsoft office, Courier systems and stock control software.
- communicate clear instructions and direction to team members, constantly monitor and maximise productivity.
- Be able to work as a fully contributing member of the management team developing strong supportive relationships.
- Able to use power tools safely
- Have experience with health & safety in a manufacturing workplace
