TITLE: Waste & Recycling Operative - Fuel & Quality Management
SALARY: 30-50,000 plus Van & IT
LOCATION: This role is home based, and requires regular travel
HOURS: Monday to Friday: 7.00am to 5.00pm and occasional Saturday
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING SECTOR: RDF Plant Operator, Biomass Fuel Supervisor, Recycling Operative, Energy From Waste Quality Supervisor, SRF Plant Supervisor, Metal Recycling Yard Manager, MRF Team Leader, MBT Plant Supervisor, Biomass Fuel Manager, Waste Plant Operative, Recycling Plant FLT Driver
ROLE: Waste & Recycling Operative - Fuel & Quality Management
You will manage contracted 3rd party supplier of waste fuels
You will maintain quality of the supplied material ensuring specification is met and contamination is within accepted levels
You will troubleshoot and issues that you come across
You will visit suppliers on a regular basis.
EXPEIRENCE: Waste & Recycling Operative - Fuel & Quality Management
You will have experience working in the Waste Management & Recycling or Waste Fuels sector and may have experience working with RDF, SRF, Biomass or Anaerobic Digestion Digestate, Baled Plastics, Metals or Card and Paper or similar
You will have experience operating mobile plant equipment such as an Excavator, Loading Shovel, Telehandler or FLT / Forklift, and will be fine but if you are not a trained FLT driver you will need to gain certification with training.
You will have a stable work history
You will be able to use a laptop and CRM software and have a reasonable level of Maths and English
You will be prepared to undertake travel across Scotland and occasionally into Northern England and have a full UK driving Licence, and Passport as you may occasionally be required to travel abroad.
