Water Efficiency Data Support & Reporting Officer

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Our client is a social and environmental regeneration charity, working with partners to build sustainable communities where individuals and enterprise prosper. This position is an exciting opportunity to work in a key role in the admin support, data analysis and delivery of their partnership programmes with multiple water providers.
The Data Support & Reporting Officer is a key member of the organisation’s Water Efficiency (WE) Programme Team. In this role you’ll need to be technically focused, quick-learning and passionate about providing excellent support and analysis across a range of project systems. Having experience in database management and data processing will be essential to your role, as well as providing on the phone support to field staff.
Developing, implementing and testing new features will be a key aspect of the role as they grow the project. You will work closely with the Data Manager and the Geospatial & Data Services team to support the 100+ staff currently delivering the project, you will provide training to new starters and ensure the system is used correctly and accurately in order to provide timely reporting of project targets.
Person Specification
Essential
- Ability to work both under supervision and alone to confidently provide administrative support to the management & field teams.
- Ability to collate, analyse and report findings/results.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and online data applications to a high standard, including analysis of numerical information.
- Good written communication skills, including literacy & numeracy to collate accurate data for reporting.
- Ability to organise your work to deal effectively with competing demands.
Desirable
- Familiarity with Online CRM systems such as Zoho Creator / Salesforce
- Familiarity with SQL, any scripting languages (R, Python, JavaScript) or reporting systems (Power BI, Zoho Analytics)
- Abilities in and commitment to ensuring Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Innovative approach to role, responding to the Programme’s changing needs.

- Educated to degree level in relevant computing/numerical discipline
- A willingness to undertake ongoing learning and development
- A valid driving licence for the UK.
