Web Developer

Due to the location and nature of this role full licence and own car are require – Hybrid working offered

Salary up to £34,000 + fantastic benefits including:

This is a brand new role to the business and require a driven and commercially minded Developer to join their highly regarded existing team.

This is a real opportunity to help shape the future of a rapidly expanding company, supporting and guiding junior developers and to influence and determine future needs and business requirements. You will be given the resources and time to gain experience and experiment with new tech stacks and ideas.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain, optimise and update company web sites (Magento and Wordpress)
• Create new web sites and themes to supplied designs
• Create, maintain and update React apps, both as single page style apps and as integrated components of web sites
• Analyse new business system requirements and find existing solutions or create new ones
• Working with the necessary departments in the company from initial concept to delivery and beyond
• Collaborate with the team to exploring the technical possibilities and approaches for a variety of projects
• Deliver impactful projects and continuously develop features and technologies

We are keen to speak with Web Development professionals who possess the following skills and experience:

• Docker
• PHP
• Demonstrable experience with Magento 2 and/or Wordpress theme creation/customisation
• Git version control exposure
• Experience and in-depth knowledge of using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Experience with React
• Familiar with PHP 7 and/or 8
• Experience with Redux and React Middleware (Desirable)
