Combining technical expertise with a strategic vision, this role ensures Mott MacDonald’s website(s) and digital experience platform reflects repeatable modern design principles and offers seamless user experiences. The manager is responsible for keeping the website updated with the latest requirements and road-mapped features while adhering to all corporate guidelines and regulatory compliance including accessibility and on/off page SEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee web development, ensuring the website meets modern design and functionality standards
- Stay updated with technological advancements to ensure the website offers a competitive user experience
- Collaborate with the wider marketing team for a unified approach to web and content strategies
- Strong SEO, and web development skills including familiarity with modern digital tools and W3C
- Experience with platforms like Piwik Pro Tag Manager and Analytics, Optimizely CMS or their equivalents is beneficial
- Understanding of the latest web technologies and their relevance to our sector
- Strong experience working with accessibility standards such as WCAG
- Technical expertise paired with a user-centric approach
- Drive to incorporate the latest and most appropriate web best practices while aligning with corporate standards i.e., DPA/GDPR Strategic thinker, ensuring the website serves both commercial and user needs
