Wedding and Events Sales Manager
Job Description:
The Limes Country Lodge Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and target-oriented Hospitality Sales Manager to join our team. As a Hospitality Sales Manager, you will work oversee and be responsible for all the targets and all aspects of sales including weddings events conferences wakes restaurant plus other miscellaneous events.
You need to be very target driven and have the ability to manage a small team.
Wedding and Events Sales Manager Responsibilities:
1. Be very proactive and generate sales through outbound as well as inbound sales and be proactive in business production in all areas.
2. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute various types of events, including conferences, parties, and weddings.
3. Provide on-site support during events, overseeing event setup, resolving any issues or concerns, and ensuring the smooth flow of activities.
4. Multitask and prioritize duties effectively while working under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality events.
5. Work independently as well as collaboratively with team members to ensure successful event planning and execution.
8. Utilize standard office software programs, such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, to complete daily or weekly tasks accurately.
Hospitality Sales Manager Requirements:
1. Minimum of 3 years of sales management plus event planning experience, with a strong understanding of coordinating various types of events.
2. Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
3. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
6. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
7. Must be fluent in written and spoken languages to effectively communicate with diverse groups.
8. Be a very proactive sales orientated individual.
