Weddings Sales Manager

We are looking for a warm and friendly Weddings Sales Managerto lead our Wedding sales team to deliver impeccable and memorable weddings. We are a popular wedding venue hosting over 150 happy events a year. We are looking for a highly customer focused manager who has previous experience working in a similar role, and can communicate enthusiastically about weddings.

Old Thorns is a four-star resort hotel in Hampshire. With 143 bedrooms and 51 luxury apartments. The hotel is easily accessible from the A3, and only 30 minutes from Guildford and Portsmouth. Old Thorns offers a wide range of accommodation, conference & function facilities, health club, beauty spa, restaurants & bars, and championship golf course. We are a popular venue for corporate events, conferences, weddings, tribute nights, golfers and spa guests.

The Wedding Sales Manager Role

• Maximise and drive all wedding sales in order to achieve wedding targets
• Respond to all wedding enquiries in a timely, confident and professional manner
• To be a main point of contact, responding to enquiries, conducting site visits and securing new wedding bookings.
• To plan and communicate effectively throughout the whole process up until the wedding day and to ensure that a smooth handover is delivered to the operations team with accurate function sheets
• Support the sales and marketing plan to ensure enquires are received and converted.
• Plan and attend Wedding Fayres, Wedding Open Days and Evenings
• Lead a team of co-ordinatiors to assist with the smooth running of wedding events.
• Good knowledge of IT applications i.e. Opera, Ivvy or other M&E system, Word, Excel etc.,
