Role overview
As a Weekend Chef you will provide a comprehensive catering service, leading the service at weekends, within budget to ensure the delivery of high quality, home cooked meals to clients. Key responsibilities
- To manage our service at weekends, preparing and cooking meals for our busy restaurant in our Extra Care Older Persons Service
- Taking responsibility for dietary and cultural needs as per resident food profiles
- Complete administrative documentation, recording meals sold and reporting resident feedback on handover to the Chef Manager
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines including the Registered Homes Act 1984
- Take responsibility for own time management, supervising staff, placing orders, booking residents meal provision, delivering on tasks and maintain the standards set by the Catering Manager
