Weekend HGV 1 Driver night shunter
based in Chelmsford

The typical working hours will be 23.00-08:00

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated HGV 1 Shunter to support our client's Chelmsford depot.

HGV 1 Shunter Job Description
Your key responsibilities will include;

• Movement of trailers through the confines of the yard in a safe responsible action including reversing onto bay
• Adhering to yard Health and Safety procedures and regulations
• Reporting any damage seen or that may have occurred during movements of trailer

We are looking for an HGV 1 Shunter who:

• Has the ability to work efficiently within a fast paced and pressured environment to ensure that the yard operation runs as smoothly as possible
• Hold a Class 1 LGV Licence (C + E) for at least 12 months
• A current driver CPC card
• Tachograph

Working hours

Saturday night into Sunday morning & Sunday night into Monday morning

Please note A full UK driving licence and CPC card and Tachograph will be required for this role
