Summary As the public face of our properties, you'll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit. Salary: £10.78 per hour / £6,468 per annum Contract duration: Fixed term contract until 03-Nov-2024 Hours: This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in equal instalments over the year. You'll work 600 hours over the duration of the contract, and on average, you'll work 16.67 hours per week but again, this will be flexible depending on operational demand. What it's like to work here You'll be part of a team of Welcome & Service Assistants working at Calke Abbey. What you'll be doing Day to day, you'll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You'll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. You'll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion. You'll be vital in ensuring our visitors have a great day out and you will play a big part in this. As part of the Visitor Experience team, you will work closely with the Service Assistants, who work flexibly across the property to maintain high standards of presentation, including emptying the bins and following cleaning regimes in the visitor facilities. You will also be working with volunteers who provide extra support to the team. The team is incredibly supportive and are always there to help. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide.
