Welder / Mig Welding

Welder with previous welding experience, preferably Mig Welding, with the ability to carry out inspection and testing and follow health and safety regulations is required for well-established company based in Tuxford, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands.

SALARY: Negotiable (depending on experience) + Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Tuxford, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent (Weekly pay)

WORKING HOURS: 07:00am - 03:30pm Monday to Thursday and 07:00am - 12:00pm Friday

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Welder with previous welding experience, preferably Mig Welding, with the ability to carry out inspection and testing and follow health and safety regulations.

Working as the Welder you will join the company’s established team to carry out welding duties to produce and number of components for edge protection barriers to a high standard.

As the Welder you will be used to manual work and working in a factory environment and will have the ability to read and fully understand engineering drawings.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Welder will involve:

• Perform welding on various components according to specifications

• Inspection and testing of welded joints for quality and durability

• Following of all health and safety regulations

• Conduct quality checks to ensure product meets required standards

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Mig Welding experience would be of interest

• Must be able to read and fully understand engineering drawings

• Full driving licence - as location has limited public transport
