Manpower are looking for an experienced Wheel Loader/Excavator Operator to work for our family owned client based in the Pershore area. They are experts in recovery of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from waste residues. They recover metals and pride themselves with the most advanced machinery and mobile installations. They are the link between waste processing and responsible recycling.
Our Wheel Loader/Excavator Drivers ensure that the various material flows from the installation are processed correctly so that the production of the installation does not stagnate. In addition to material handling, our operator assists the installation manager with the daily maintenance of the machines and the SOI.
Monday - Friday (Saturday Rota - hours to be discussed)
06:30 - 18:00
£13.50 per hour

Your duties will include (but are not restricted to);
- Being responsible for your own safety and that of colleagues around the site
- Driving away the processed slag from the various piles and placing it in depot or loading it onto a truck/dumper
- Driving unprocessed bottom ash to the crane for the reprocessing process
- Weigh and empty containers in depot or on truck,
- Ability to handle Loadrite L2180
- Ensuring correct administration of the various material flows
- Keep the machine in orderly condition and use it correctly and neatly
- Perform daily maintenance on the machine
- Monitor the production process and intervene in the event of malfunctions or obstructions or inform the installation manager
- Help and support the installation manager in the event of malfunctions, repairs or maintenance
- Help to manually clean the installation at the end of the production day
- Collaborate with colleagues within the installation and the organisation to gain knowledge and experience
- Taking care of the correct time registration of the machine and yourself
Requirements/Qualifications;
- Must hold CPCS or NPORS/MPQC ticket
- Able to work off own initiative
- Excellent team player as well as ability to work on your own
- Physically fit (long days!)
- Driving License (due to location of site)
- Strong Knowledge of Health & Safety
- Excellent time management
- Hard working
- Reliable
