The role

As a Windows Engineer for our SMB Windows Support Team, you will play a pivotal role in providing advanced technical expertise to maintain a high level of support service. You will contribute to the professional growth of team members, and optimize processes for improved efficiency and customer satisfaction. Our Windows Engineers are responsible for working with customers through troubleshooting, monitoring and enhancing solutions, with a focus on customer experience, where all members of the team work together to maintain SLAs and KPIs.

What will I be doing?

  • Delivering unparalleled customer service and advice to our customers via calls and tickets in line with defined SLAs and KPIs
  • Helping with the setup, configuration, and support of Windows-based customer solutions across our dedicated, private and public cloud platforms
  • Contributing to the maintenance and development of customer solutions, including consulting them on how we can best improve their technical environments
  • Innovating and aiding in the development of new and improved processes and products
  • Developing your expertise in the vast suite of technologies we work with and contributing to our internal knowledge documentation

What will I bring to the role?

  • Demonstrated expertise in Windows system administration and support, showcasing a deep understanding of Windows environments, configurations, and troubleshooting
  • Demonstrated adaptability to evolving technical landscapes and a proactive approach to adopting new technologies and methodologies
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to convey technical information clearly to team members and stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, allowing you to analyse complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support services and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Experience in assessing and optimizing support processes to improve efficiency and enhance the overall performance of the team
  • Windows Server Administration Certifications, MCSA, MCSE, AZ-103/4, AZ-800 are all beneficial

Note: This role will require the flexibility to work in shift patterns, with occasional weekend work.
