Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development and experience working with WordPress to create and customize websites.

This is a completely flexible position, and you're able to work wherever and whenever you want.

You would be classified as a contractor, and are to work as a self-employed individual meaning you are responsible for recording your earnings and submitting them to the government.

Duties:

- Designing and implementing new features and functionality for WordPress-based websites

- Building custom themes and plugins for WordPress

- Ensuring high performance and availability of websites

- Keeping up to date with SEO and monitoring website statistics

- Collaborating with design and content teams to ensure effective implementation of website features

- Conducting website testing and troubleshooting

Skills:

- Some knowledge in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a bonus

- Experience with WooCommerce and integrated plugins / extensions

- Knowledge of any programming language

- Familiarity with server technologies

- Ability to work with various databases including MySQL

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
