Work Experience Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity in a dynamic and forward-thinking further education institution and seeking a Full time Work Experience Coordinator in the East London area. This is an ongoing temp role for an immediate start!!

As a Work Experience Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our students’ learning journey by facilitating meaningful Work Experience placements. You’ll collaborate closely with our curriculum teams, employers, and students to ensure that Work Experience aligns with their individual needs and career aspirations.

As a Work experience Coordinator, you will be:

• Placement Sourcing: Identify and secure Work Experience opportunities across various industries, tailoring placements to students’ vocational pathways.
• Database Management: Maintain a central database of work placements, ensuring accurate records and timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Liaison: Collaborate with college staff, employers, and external partners to coordinate Work Experience logistics, including health and safety compliance.
• Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students during their work placements, helping them develop essential employability skills.
• Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the impact of Work Experience on student learning outcomes, making continuous improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Essential:
  
  • Relevant experience in coordinating work placements or similar roles.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Understanding of the further education sector and the importance of Work Experience.
  • DBS on the update service
• Desirable:
  
  • Knowledge of industry-specific requirements and trends.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.

This role is full time on site, Monday-Friday.

This role is paying £15-£25ph depending on experience.

You will be subject to an Enhanced DBS.
