Cornwall - Civils/ Concreting

Temporary role with a view of going permanent after a short period of time. Great opportunity for someone who wants to use their supervisory skills and still be on the tools.

Day to day:

• Manage a team of 2
• Oversee and supervise works on roads/ public highways
• Be hands on within the team as well as supervising
• Doing small reports
• Paperwork
• Travel around Cornwall with your gang to various sites

Requirements:

• CSCS Card
• CITB health and safety and environment test
• NVQ level 2 in relevant subject or equivalent
• Good planning skills
• Good health and safety knowledge
• Experience managing a small team before
• Significant technical and practical knowledge and skills in line with the management and delivery of specialist (manual) civil engineering tasks including specific knowledge and experience in structural concreting and reinforcement, skilled masonry and bridge structures or specialist machine paver operation working to specific levels.
