To help us achieve this we are looking for someone to join our current team and support our Workshop Electricians and customers.

About The Role

We are growing the support to our workshop and depot in our London (Dartford) branch to meet the ever-increasing needs of our expanding business.

We are looking for someone with hands on, practical experience to take the lead on organising the workshop and ensuring equipment is pre-tested before going out, giving stable and continuous service levels.

You will need tocomplete post and pre hire assessments on our electrical fleet of pumps and control panels, this includes completion of electrical testing, inspection of the pump wear parts and mechanical seals, as well as completing estimates and repairs for pumps and control panels.

This role will be based on site in the workshop and would suit someone looking to work in one location as there is no requirement to attend call outs.

What we are looking for:

  • A qualification in, or be partly qualified to a maintenance standard, in electrical works.
  • Demonstrable practical experience of working in a similar role or environment.
  • A methodical approach, with the ability to work through a schedule and ensure all checks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Well organised, able to organise paperwork, ensuring stock is always available and the equipment needed is on site.
  • Able to work under pressure, with the ability to manage own workload of daily tasks alongside emergency jobs, prioritising where needed.
  • Willing to go the extra mile for our customers, to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, balancing the needs of the customer with overall business requirements.
  • Demonstrable ability to share own knowledge and best practice, to help coach and develop apprentices and newer members of the team.
  • Electrical installer or maintenance electrician ECS gold card is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience with control panels would be advantageous, but not essential.

Please note, no vehicle is provided for this role so own transport to site would be necessary.
