Workshop Technician

Workshop Technician required for my client who work within the gas fuelled engines industry, based near to Merthyr Tydfil.

Workshop Technician Position Overview

• Day to day manufacturing and assembly of gas engines, generators and CHPs.
• Setting up control configuration and testing of the completed sets.
• Occasionally go to sites to help installation, commissioning and maintenance.

Workshop Technician Position Requirements

• 3 + years' experience working within mechanical engineering.
• A background working as a generator / CHP engineer.
• A good understanding of both mechanical and electrical control systems on engines and generating sets is essential.
• Engines and / or generator engines experience.
• Commutable distance of Merthyr Tydfil.
• Full UK Driving License.

Workshop Technician Position Remuneration

• Salary - £28,000 - dependent upon experience, skills and qualifications.
• Full time position.
• Holiday package.
